Overview
During my first year of the Master of Information program at the University of Toronto, I joined the Innovation Hub as a UX/UI Web Designer. My focus was on redesigning the iHub's library interface to enhance accessibility, ensuring full compliance with WCAG guidelines. Additionally, our team collaborated with the Family Care Office to synthesize insights from years of design research, aiming to create a more family-friendly university environment. This year, our objective is to develop a dedicated "mini-site" of resources within the Family Care Office website to support U of T staff, faculty, and student leaders in fostering family-friendly practices in their daily interactions.
My Role
I improved the iHub website’s accessibility by adding alt text to all level 1 and level 2 images and established a more consistent design system for card components. Additionally, I collaborated with a team of five designers and developers on the information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes for the Family Care Office website.
